FAQs

Are there any COVID, flu or other health restrictions?

No. The venue is well-ventilated, but there will be times during event where you may be close by others. Your attendance and participation are at your own risk.
N95 masks will be available by the entrance for anyone who wishes to use one.  We strongly recommend you follow the CDC's guidelines on vaccination prior to the event and receive all available boosters.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 on the date or have tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to the event, we kindly request you refrain from attending. A livestream of the ceremony will be available for anyone unable to attend in person.

Can I bring a +1?

Each invitation will note whether you are welcome to bring a guest.
If you would like to bring a guest and do not see the option on your invitation, please contact us to discuss.

Can I bring the kids?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your minor children to the ceremony and reception if you would like to. Children will be offered a meal of chicken fingers and french fries unless an alternative is requested.
However, we also totally understand that some parents have a desire to get away from the kiddos for a weekend too. We leave the decision of whether to bring your kids to you and are happy you are here to share our special day with us either way.

Can I have a dietary accommodation?

Yes. Both of our entree options are gluten-free by design and there will be gluten-free options for other courses as well.
Vegetarian/vegan and other dietary restrictions will be accommodated on request. Please make a note of your needs on your RSVP and we will work with the venue to ensure you are well fed with your needs met.

Can I request a song?

Yes. We recommend that if you have a specific song request for the reception that you note it on your RSVP so our DJ has it prepared.
Our DJ will accept requests during the event on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Can I use electronics?

We are excited that you want to want to share our day with us and keep the memories fresh forever.
However, we have the assistance of an excellent photographer and we would politely request that all cell phones, tablets, pagers and other gadgets be turned off completely for the duration of the ceremony so that she can do her best work.
After the ceremony is over, you may use your devices, but please keep them on silent or vibrate to avoid causing interruptions in the event.
Please do not use flash photography at any time during the event as some guests are known to be sensitive to bright light.

Can I post about the event on social media?

Of course! We welcome sharing of pictures of the event on social media. However, many of our guests are traveling long-distance to attend, and for some that means their homes are unattended. Please refrain from posting photos including anyone outside the bridal party until at least Tuesday, August 12.

What should I wear?

The dress code will be formal for both the ceremony and reception. Please dress nicely, but comfortably.
August in Massachusetts is generally warm. August 10, 2023 had a high of 86° F and low of 65° F and we do intend for the ceremony to be outdoors, weather permitting so keep this in mind as you choose something to wear.

Will the event be accessible?

Yes, the venue meets ADA guidelines for mobility accessibility.
Signs and venue staff will be posted to make it easy to navigate the facility.
A designated area will be available for quiet relaxation and conversation for any guest.
